STRAWBERRY
CREAM PUFFS

If you are looking for a quick and easy dessert, here is another one. Approximately 30 minutes for preparation time and 20 minutes for baking. I chose some fresh whipped cream and strawberries for the fillings. Nice and warm puffs and cold cream with strawberries, it is heavenly.

Unlike baking a cake, you will need to spend more time on measuring the ingredients and making the batter, but this one only minimal measuring needs to be done, and minimal work to prepare the batter. I hope you will enjoy making this one.

STEP 1: Prepare the ingredients

Strawberry Cream Puffs Recipe:

Puffs:

1 cup water

8 tablespoons butter

½ salt

1 cup flour

1 tablespoon vanilla

3 eggs

Fillings:

2 cups Whipped cream

30g sugar

8-10 strawberries

STEP 2: Prepare the batter

Preheat the oven 430°F/220°C.

Add water, butter and salt in a pot. Bring it to a boil over a low heat until the butter is melted. Stir well. Then remove the pot from the stove.

Pour the flour into the butter mixture and stir well until a lump is formed.

Beat the eggs. Then pour in the egg little by little until a sticky consistency (you will know when it's right consistency for piping later)

After well mixing the eggs in, the batter will became very sticky and lumpy. Then transfer them into a piping bag.

On a tray, put a parchment paper. Then start piping to the size you desire. In this case, I piped them in mini size.

After completing the piping, dab the top to smoothened the sharp pointing edge. Sprinkle a little water over the tray. This will bring moisture to the batter and to help them to rise.

Bake them in 430°F/220°C for 20 minutes.

The puffs came out beautifully.

STEP 3: Prepare the filling

While waiting for the puffs to cool, prepare the fillings.

In a bowl, whipped the heavy cream until stiff peak is formed.

Slice the fresh strawberry and set them aside.

Finally, assemble the puffs with the fresh whipped cream and strawberry.

Serve then on a nice plate, and you're ready for tea time!
